If you ever want to see me at my girliest, make me watch a scary movie. I scream and jump like none other. That's why I try to avoid scary movies. Haejin will attest to my watching "The Others." I really don't like pop out scary scenes. Even scenes in Lord of the Rings (when Bilbo's face changes) made me jump out of my seat.

Psychologically disturbing movies are different. I tend to replay scenes in my head and freak myself out. Case in point: I watched "Red Dragon" on TV last night. I figured it'd be ok, since (1) I've already seen the movie before and no real damage, and (2) Edward Norton and Anthony Hopkins.

Let's just say I had a rough night last night. I started having weird dreams, which is weird enough because I NEVER remember my dreams. Then I knew I was awake, but my mind was replaying scenes from "Red Dragon" and I couldn't get it to stop. So I turned on some Christian music and fell asleep singing along. I learned my lesson.

On a more fun topic, we played ultimate frisbee after church yesterday. Weather was beautiful and everyone had a lot of fun. Our JDSN is so athletic... she kicks all the guys' butts. :) We'll definitely be playing more often.

Spring Celebration at Great America May 14. STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN!!! Now if only I can stay on track with my studying...

Durian ... definitely an acquired taste. Oh and ... I watched Red Dragon and then Maid in Manhattan, but could not look Ralph Fiennes the same again. He just looked like a maniacal murderer in Main in Manhattan! :/
