I check my own blog every day... sometimes more than once a day, hoping for an update. haha. It doesn't register until after I check it that I need to post something for there to be an update.

Hopefully I'll have more exciting news about my job situation by the end of this week.

I'm headed up for Tahoe this weekend to do some hiking/camping. I've never been to Tahoe in the summer so I'm pretty excited. Be on the lookout for some ridiculously gorgeous pictures (of the scenery, that is).

Sarah... 9 more days!

"Dear Chris Son:

Congratulations, your application for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) general license has been approved by the California Board of Accountancy (Board)."

After 1+ years of studying and patiently waiting, it has finally paid off. There's just one more hurdle to my becoming officially official...paying my fee. That'll probably be another 10 weeks before I hear they received my check.

"Your wall certificate will be issued in approximately 180 days, provided you have paid the initial CPA license fee."

I have a thing for earlobes. The fleshier the better. I don't know when this infatuation began, but it's especially strong with babies. Instead of pinching their cheeks, I'll go for their earlobes.

I mention this because I think my dad has the best earlobes. I annoy him a lot by pulling on his earlobe and pretending to fight him. And as much as he pretends to be annoyed, I know he loves it. :)

My dad turned 58 this past week. In light of the accident this past year, I was very thankful to help him celebrate another birthday. This birthday has also been a reminder of how quickly my parents are aging. I definitely take their presence for granted (in spite of my complaints that they treat me like I'm still in high school).

I've been made painfully aware the past 2 weeks (the past year, actually) by the elder ladies at church that it's my duty as a daughter to hurry up and give my parents some grandkids. I believe the exact words they use is "hyo-do." Yeah, like that's gonna speed up the process.
