26 is off to a great start.
I don't fear getting older. Each year since graduating college has been memorable in its own way. 25 was full on changes. I'm looking forward to discovering what 26 holds. For sure, it's going to hold some adventures. I sense joys and heartaches, but that's what makes each year more special.
Thank you all for your calls, texts, emails, cards, and company. The love you all showered on me, someone so undeserving, was overwhelming at times. Makes me look forward to heaven. It'll be one big party.

Yesterday, instead of home cooking, we ate out for biblestudy. Mimi's treat because all of us slaved away reading multiple versions of her admissions essay for grad school.
We ended the night by going to a fobby dessert place on Noriega afterwards. Chinese music blaring, and things like snow frog slush and sweet fungus on the menu. No joke. Ashley says that's the best part of living in San Francisco. You can enter shops like that and instantly be transported to another culture.
Mimi has been camera crazy ever since she got her new digital camera for her birthday. As always, she wanted to document our evening. But she hates it when we mess up her pictures with crazy faces. So after multiple attempts, Ashley suggested we look like we're stabbing her with our spoon at the last minute.
The result...
I'm quite proud of the results. I look psycho.

Dorcas or Doyce?
If you had to choose one, which name would you prefer? My friend and I always ask the new people that happen to come visit our church. She would much rather be called Dorcas, whereas I would pick Doyce hands down. I think Dorcas sounds too much like "dork," but she argues that the name is found in the Bible.
I mention this because she sent me a link to fill out a bracket-thing for March Madness. Dorcas or Doyce is our group name. I don't keep up with college basketball, so this is like picking names out of a hat. I chose Kansas to win it all.
