I've been asked more than once whether or not Danny is being helpful with the wedding planning. I'll have to say he's more than helpful. Here are just a few things he's been working on.

This car situation is not resolved. Basically the insurance has been holding off on settling the claim because they've been waiting for a police report. Today we come to find out there is no police report. So they have to stand by what their insured claims (that they did not hit my car).

My option now is to write a nice/threatening letter and if they don't respond to that, take them to small claims court.

ANNOYING.

One epiphany during this whole mess. It's nice to be marrying a lawyer.

Oh, I haven't mentioned I'm getting married? I'll write more about that later.

I got into a minor car accident (in my sister's car) when I was in LA 2 weekends ago. This lady clipped the right back side of my car before completely rear-ending this other car in her lane. It was such a hassle exchanging information and waiting for the police. Even more frustrating because the people involved only spoke Spanish. Luckily the cop was able to communicate with them.

Anyway, 2 weeks later, things aren't progressing with the claim I filed. Come to find out, the lady is CONTESTING my claim. She says that I wasn't in her lane so she wasn't the one that hit me.

Apparently it's not a good thing to kick old people. Normally, I would never dare. But I would really really like to make an exception to that rule right now.

Ugh.

The weather in San Francisco has been gorgeous these days...

We girls can put it away. Made even better by using a $25 gift certificate I purchased for $2. Awesome.

This time every year one of the managers buys us holiday scratchers as a fun holiday card/gift.

I won $2. Woo hoo.

So I went downstairs and purchased another scratcher.

I won another $2.

I think this is how people get addicted to this stuff.

I'm going downstairs. haha.
